How do you want to aim the rangefinder?

This is the clearest difference: Screen View is designed to reduce dependence on a traditional eyepiece.

Hold it out in front of me and acquire the target on a screen, more like a camera. Use a traditional laser/viewfinder workflow. I struggle to hold a normal eyepiece steady against my eye. I am comfortable with conventional laser optics and want to keep the process familiar.

How much magnification do you want?

Callaway specifies 10x magnification for Screen View; the CSI Pro page emphasizes optics but does not publish the same 10x claim.

10x is attractive because I want a larger visual target on the screen. I do not need 10x; a conventional clear optical workflow is enough. I prioritize seeing the target enlarged on the external display. I prioritize a simpler traditional device over maximum displayed magnification.

Which carrying style fits you?

The Screen View concept is built around a larger display; CSI Pro is positioned as compact and portable.

A larger screen-oriented device is fine if it makes target acquisition easier. I want a compact laser that slips into a pocket or bag easily. Ease of aiming matters more than minimal size. Portability matters more than having an external screen.

Which feature package sounds closer to what you need?

Both provide slope functionality and tournament-use controls; focus on the day-to-day interface.

Screen View, PAT/pulse and Magnahold cart mounting are the features I notice most. PAT, scan mode, multi-coated optics, external slope control and auto-off are enough. I want Callaway’s alternative aiming solution, not just another traditional laser. I want the current Callaway traditional-laser route without the screen-view concept.
