Prioritize what you can read quickly in your usual playing conditions.

A clean traditional view with multi-coated optics. I do not need a premium dual-color OLED display. A red/green OLED display is a major usability benefit. I often play in conditions where adjustable OLED visibility matters.

Consider weather protection, cart mounting and everyday handling.

I want a compact Callaway laser without paying mainly for flagship extras. Simple slope, scan and pin-acquisition tools cover my needs. I want stronger weather protection and a premium integrated cart magnet. I value Bushnell’s higher-tier construction and Tour-series ergonomics.

The Tour V7 Shift can connect to the Bushnell Golf ecosystem; the core laser still works without the app.

No. I want the rangefinder to stay primarily a standalone laser. I am unlikely to use app-linked club or course information. Yes. LINK/MyBag integration adds value for me. I like having an optional connected layer even if I do not use it every round.

Do not assume the more feature-rich model is automatically the better fit.

Buy the simpler product when it covers the yardage job well. I would rather keep the feature set focused and familiar. Pay more for OLED, BITE magnet, stronger weather sealing and connected options. I want the premium Tour experience rather than the simpler value route.
